This week I have signed up to a Live Project to create an outdoor
installation piece for Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet, working from the theme
"Icons in Blue", a discount campaign that the piece will promote. I
will be working with Cat and Adele on the project as we decided to work as a
team. We went to visit the site and meet the Marketing team to discuss the
brief further. It was an insightful experience meeting with them and I gained a
good understanding of the kind things they liked and disliked. The site is large and situated next to a
roundabout, so scale will be essential in the design process to
ensure the piece is seen by the passing cars and shoppers. We persuaded the
staff at Gap to bring some denim jeans out for us to photograph in the space.
